1. Why should rainforests and Mary Cairncross be protected? (Planning our questions)

2. FILM: Take footage for your short film (not too much, or you will spend hours editing!) IDEAS:
3. SKETCH: Sketch animals and plants in the different layers of the rainforest
- Film different layers in the rainforest (including special plants and animals that live there)
- Film short interview with people talking about how they feel about the rainforest and protecting it (Prepare Qs before you go).
- Film short interview with guide about how to protect rainforests.
3. SKETCH: Sketch animals and plants in the different layers of the rainforest
- Divide a piece of paper into 4 sections (Emergent Layer, Canopy, Understory and Forest Floor)
- Sketch and label interesting animals and plants in correct layer
- You may also like to note any interesting information that you hear
